CisGO Packager is a desktop application that repackages the Cisco Secure Client pre-deployment DMG into a customized .pkg. It is designed to run entirely on your own machine. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information.
Information CisGO Packager stores
The app processes the files you give it — the Cisco Secure Client .dmg, and any Umbrella OrgInfo.json or VPN profile you choose to inject — locally on your computer while it builds your package. The generated .pkg is written to a folder next to your DMG. These files stay on your device; the app does not upload them anywhere.
Information CisGO Packager does not collect
CisGO Packager does not collect, log, or transmit any personal or sensitive information to the developer or to any server operated by the developer. There are no user accounts, no analytics, no telemetry, no trackers, and no advertising. The developer has no access to your files, your configuration, or the packages you build.
Network access
The app's core packaging workflow runs offline using tools already on your system (on macOS, hdiutil and pkgbuild; on Windows, 7-Zip and managed code). You supply the Cisco Secure Client DMG yourself — the app does not download it. Any network connection you make to obtain the app or its source is governed by the policies of the host you download from (for example, GitHub).
Data sharing and sale
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your information with anyone. We do not have it.
Third-party software
The packages CisGO Packager builds contain Cisco Secure Client software, which is produced and licensed by Cisco Systems, Inc. Your use of that software, and any profiles or configuration you deploy, is governed by Cisco's own terms and privacy policies. CisGO Packager is an independent tool and is not affiliated with Cisco.
Children
CisGO Packager is a general-purpose administrative utility, is not directed to children, and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
